Cultural Artifact Analysis

The picked artifact is a famous blueprint of materials by Andy Warhol in 1962 named Campbell Soup Holders. I picked this piece since it feels exceptionally nostalgic to me. I was in a craftsmanship class at the center school, where a whole piece of the class was devoted to Andy Warhol and his unmistakable strength. He has different respected creative signs, yet this set sticks out to me the most because of his cause of watchfulness and the connection I feel when analyzing it as part of my HUM FPX 1150 Assessment 1 Cultural Artifact Analysis.

This piece was made during the 1960s and had an utterly astounding feel from the artistry. Right when it appeared from the beginning, it was portrayed as cold and impressive due to how different it could have been from craftsmanship around then (Dealing with Plant Boss, 1970). The plans have a beneficially manufactured, mechanical feel, showing how tremendous development-making has assumed control over American life and the genuine way of life.

• Warhol’s Pop Art Commentary

• Nostalgia and Cultural Reflection

This contemplates how he presents the work vivaciously, as you would see the compartments on a store rack. This gives the watcher a warm propensity and makes them think about their young lives. Both cultural properties that Warhol is trying to convey influence me. Seeing this piece feels particularly nostalgic and makes me think about my young life. This piece correspondingly depicts how helpfully made American life is and makes the watcher suspend and think quickly.

How we are raised affects how we see the world. Our encounters when we were more youthful will shape how we see the world when we age. Being brought up in a genuine region, a piece of the capably caused me to feel that American life hadn’t appeared okay currently, and it made me see the value in it as I progressed in years. Taking a gander at this establishment, which is central to my HUM FPX 1150 Assessment 1 Cultural Artifact Analysis, makes me consider where I came from and regard how far I have gotten.
